Exquisite tastings, visits to olive groves and vineyards, delicious meals in typical restaurants, and encounters with local producers will enrich your gastronomic tour of Liguria. You’ll have the opportunity to discover the gastronomic essence of the Riviera, centered on products fundamental to the Mediterranean diet, such as extra virgin olive oil.

4 DAYS – 3 NIGHTS

Day 1 – The Taggiasca Olive:

Arrival in the early afternoon to reach the Argentina Valley, the first stop of your exclusive gastronomic tour of Liguria and the “kingdom” of the precious Ligurian Taggiasca olive.
Near the village of Badalucco, you’ll enjoy a picturesque walk among the olive groves, discovering the connection between this magnificent product and the local families who have passionately dedicated themselves to its harvest and processing for generations.
In the evening, check into your hotel, enjoy dinner, and stay overnight.  

Day 2 – Extra Virgin Olive Oil:

After learning about the raw material, this day will be dedicated to exploring Ligurian extra virgin olive oil, from its past to its present.
After breakfast, visit the Olive Museum of the Fratelli Carli company in Imperia.
The exhibition will take you through the history of olive cultivation in Mediterranean civilizations, with characteristic reconstructions of significant environments, up to modern production facilities.
For lunch, savor Ligurian cuisine at a typical restaurant.
In the afternoon, visit a traditional oil mill in the Argentina Valley. Here, local producers will guide you through every step of olive processing to create the exquisite Ligurian “liquid gold.”
Conclude the visit with tastings and possibly purchase products directly from the producer.
Return to the hotel, enjoy dinner, and stay overnight.  

Day 3 – Rossese DOC of Dolceacqua:

Liguria is a land of wines with a great tradition, and in particular, the Riviera dei Fiori is home to exceptional DOC wines such as Rossese, Ormeasco, Vermentino, and Pigato.
The third day of your gastronomic tour will be dedicated to Rossese di Dolceacqua, a fine red wine with an intense taste and spicy aroma, the first in Liguria to receive DOC recognition in 1972.
Dolceacqua is a characteristic medieval village in Val Nervia, rich in history with the ruins of Doria Castle and the incredible humpback bridge dating back to the 15th century.
After a walk through charming alleys and artisan shops, visit a local winery for wine and local product tastings.
In the afternoon, before returning to the hotel, consider stopping in the picturesque village of Apricale, characterized by narrow alleys perched on slopes, where you can taste the typical Ligurian snack: pansarole with zabaione.
Return to the hotel, enjoy dinner, and stay overnight.  

Day 4 – Ligurian Cooking Class:

For the final morning of this tour, we are delighted to organize a unique experience: a cooking class with a Ligurian chef coach.
After jointly selecting the dishes to prepare, the chef will guide you through the traditional preparations of Ligurian cuisine, sharing the secrets to mastering authentic recipes.
At lunch, enjoy the menu you’ve prepared together.
In the afternoon, return to your point of origin.
