Historic Grand Prix
Since 1997, the Automobile Club of Monaco (ACM) has organized an event that thrills the audience. It’s a race that takes place every two years on the Monte Carlo circuit, the same one as the Formula 1 Grand Prix. In this case, however, the stars are the legendary old racing cars. The event takes place in May, a few weeks before the Grand Prix. E-Prix
Formula E is a racing series created by the FIA, in which only electric cars race. The first edition made its official debut with the 2014 Beijing E-PRIX. Alejandro Agag is the founder of the series and current president of Formula E Holdings, the competition promoter. Fanboost is a system that allows fans to interact with the race, by voting for their favorite driver. The most voted drivers get an extra power boost for a limited period. Attack Mode is a new feature introduced in the 5th edition that grants additional power to the drivers. The details of the section of the track where it can be used are revealed just before the race to prevent specific strategy planning. Most races take place in a single day to minimize the impact on city mobility. However, on some occasions, the race is held over two consecutive days. The program usually includes free practice, qualifications, and then the actual race.
