A fragrant and flavorful itinerary through Provence, starting from the plants at the University of Forcalquier, to clay, aloe vera, and thermal waters products in Mane. Visit a well-known cosmetics company in Manosque, passing through food and wine products. Make a stop in Aubagne to discover the Santon culture, and end with the soaps of Salon-de-Provence.<\/h2>\n

Discover the cities that host the diverse flavors of Provence. Our tour starts at the University of Flavors and Scents, a center for training in aromatic, cosmetic, and food plants. Continue to a cosmetics workshop and explore gastronomic products such as oil, truffle, wine, and calisson. Discover the Santon craftsmanship and finally, the soap-making process.<\/p>\n

Itinerary<\/h3>\n

Day 1: Forcalquier<\/strong> The tour begins at the Convent of the Cordeliers<\/strong>, home to the European University of Flavors and Scents. It is the only university in France certifying soap-making diplomas. The UESS is a center for the promotion and training of aromatic, cosmetic, and food plants.
\nDay 2: Mane<\/strong>
\nEnjoy a tour of a laboratory that transforms aloe vera \u2013 rich in nutrients \u2013 into gel, drinks, and beauty products. Here, clay and thermal water-based products are also produced. The essential oils institute is a research unit that will show you the ingredients of perfumes and cosmetics.<\/p>\n

Day 3: Manosque<\/strong>
\nVisit a renowned perfume and essential oil company, developed based on the principles of aromatherapy and phytotherapy. Discover flavors like olive oil at the olive eco-museum and truffle. End the day with a visit to a local vineyard.<\/p>\n

Day 4: Aubagne<\/strong>
\nExplore the Santon craftsmanship and culture of Provence, small clay figurines used in nativity scenes. Enjoy a visit to the workshop and museum. Then, head to Aix-de-Provence<\/strong> to visit a calisson factory and learn about its history and manufacturing process through an interactive museum experience. Continue to Salon-de-Provence<\/strong>, the capital of oils and soaps, for a visit to a soap factory.<\/p>\n
