The Langhe and Roero regions are in the heart of the Piedmontese food and wine country, and they are famous worldwide for their wine production.  The most famous of all are the great red wines with their splendid ruby red color: Barolo, Nebbiolo, Barbaresco, Dolcetto d’Alba and others.

On your group tour, you will have the opportunity to visit vineyards and see the entire process of how these celebrated wines are created.  Then you will taste some of them in a series of selected wineries.

White truffles from Alba are also very famous, and every year there is an international truffle fair that attracts visitors from every corner of the world.

Every “cascina”, or farmhouse, in southern Piedmonte has a Tonda Gentile hazelnut tree next to it.  The local hazelnuts were made famous by the beloved Ferrero products, but they are also the main ingredient in the famous Alba Torrone.  You will be able to taste this delicious sweet at the end of your visit to a traditional torrone factory.

Familiarize yourself with the fine cheeses of the region, featured in the yearly Cheese Festival in Bra, and with the excellent Piedmontese beef; together these two ingredients form the basis of authentic local Piedmontese cuisine which you can sample while you are on your group tour.

We are here to help you organize your tour of the Langhe region, designed to help you discover the food, wine, and characteristic scenery of Piedmont.
